In MBN’s “Passionate Goodbye,” which aired on November 28th, Kim Hyun Joong appeared as a guest. Kim talked about how he had been doing band music since he was young.
In this episode, Kim Hyun Joong said on his first wish list, “I want us to enjoy together the dish I made,” he said, introducing the menu, which was bossam (pork with vegetables) and bibim-guksu (mixed noodles).
Regarding his second wish list, “I want to perform,” Kim Hyun Joong said. “I debuted at the same company as Eun Ji Won. I have been doing band music since my time in middle and high school. I auditioned by playing the guitar, but they told me to dance first.” Eugene said, “It can’t be helped. Idol is about visual.“
Kim Hyun Joong said, “I didn’t sing during my audition. I played the guitar and got accepted. But they said that I had to dance first to be in a band. The CEO was scary, too. I became a singer and went on a way that is totally different from what I dreamt of. I want to try the music I did when I was young and energetic, so I’ve created a company with people who still protect me around me and I’m doing band music,” he shared.
Kim Hyun Joong continued, “I didn’t promote in Korea, but I did a lot of world tours. I want to show you how I do music after a while,” he said.
