According to Nielsen Korea, an audience rating research company on the 11th, the 12th episode of TV Chosun’s Saturday drama ‘The Witch is Alive’ (directed by Kim Yun-cheol, written by Park Par-ran) recorded 1.07% nationwide based on pay TV households.

In the last episode, Gong-mari (Lee Yu-ri), Chae Hee-soo (Lee Min-young), and Yang Jin-ah (Yoon So-yi), who faced a new phase in their lives after adversity, were drawn with different happy endings.

‘Becoming Witch’ started off smoothly on June 25th with an audience rating of 3.4%. However, after episode 5, the ratings remained at 1% and the drama ended quietly without any significant rebound.

Actress Lee Yu-ri drew attention by trying a rather unconventional hairstyle to describe the character of Gong-mari.  She cut her hair short and brought the character to life with a strong wavy perm hairstyle.

Meanwhile, it is reported that the sequel to TV Chosun’s ‘Becoming Witch’ is ‘Red Balloon’ will be written by Mun Young-nam.
