8-year couple Shin Min-ah and Kim Woo-bin appear in public together for the release of their drama “Our Blues”

Actress Shin Min-ah and actor Kim Woo-bin, who have publicized their romantic relationship since 2015, appeared side by side in public today.

On the afternoon of April 7th, an online press conference for tvN’s new Saturday-Sunday drama “Our Blues” was held. Writer Noh Hee-hyung, director Kim Kyu-tae and actors Lee Byung-hun, Cha Seung-won, Lee Jung-eun, Han Ji-min, and Uhm Jung-hwa attended the event.

Shin Min-ah and Kim Woo-bin, who have been in a beautiful romance for 8 years, also appeared, drawing fans’ attention. In “Our Blues”, Shin Min-ah forms a couple with Lee Byung-hun, while Kim Woo-bin portrays a romance with Han Ji-min.

Writer Noh Hee-kyung praised Shin Min-ah and Kim Woo-bin, who accepted the offers to appear in this drama, saying, “They are such a cool couple”.

Revealing the casting process, she drew attention by saying, “I said I would not let them stick together. I told them about that. I said, ‘You two will have different love lines. I hope you can understand’. Luckily, they said it was okay”. 

At the press conference, Kim Woo-bin expressed that he felt nervous since this is his return through a drama 6 years after fighting nasopharyngeal cancer. The actor shared, “I have already greeted fans through entertainment programs and advertisements before this. But I’m happy to greet them through a drama”.

Kim Woo-bin, who transforms into the pure-hearted captain Park Jeong-joon with a clear and warm nature, said that he made extraordinary efforts to play his role well. Kim Woo-bin added, “I went to Jeju Island first to meet the captains, watched haenyeos on their way home and also learned how to prepare fish”.

Meanwhile, “Our Blues” is an omnibus drama that depicts the life stories of various characters against the backdrop of the warm and lively sea of Jeju Island. Receiving keen attention from its production stage, the healing drama “Our Blues” will premiere at 9:10 p.m on April 9th.
