Current whereabouts of director Hong Sang Soo and his mistress, actress Kim Min Hee, draw attention.
On August 18th, a post titled “Kim Min Hee and Hong Sang Soo these days” was shared on the online community Theqoo.
The post includes a photo of actress Kim Min Hee and film director Hong Sang Soo, where they were showing affection for each other in public without caring about their surroundings. Kim Min Hee was playfully covering Hong Sang Soo’s face with her scarf while smiling widely.
This was reportedly taken in New York this May. At the time, it is known that Kim Min Hee was attending a retrospective exhibition of director Hong and the two had various schedules together.
Hong Sang Soo and Kim Min Hee have been dating since 2015 through the movie “Right Now, Wrong Then”. The two later admitted that they were together at a press conference for the 2017 movie “On the Beach at Night Alone” after being caught up in rumors of having an affair.
When their relationship came to light, it made headlines as the two have a 22-year age difference. Hong Sang Soo was born in 1960 and Kim Min Hee was born in 1982.
Director Hong filed for divorce from his wife in 2019, but it was dismissed by the court, and to this day, he and his wife are still legally married.
