Netflix is preparing to expand its Korean drama lineup with several highly anticipated releases arriving throughout July and early August. The upcoming slate spans crime comedy, historical fantasy, supernatural romance, and romantic comedy, featuring popular stars including Ji Sung, Nam Joo-hyuk, Park Eun-bin, Yang Se-jong, and Jung Hae-in.
1. The Apartment Job

Scheduled to premiere on July 11, The Apartment Job is a JTBC drama that will also stream on Netflix. Blending crime, comedy, and thriller elements, the series follows Park Hae-gang, played by Ji Sung, a retired gangster who unexpectedly runs for president of his apartment complex’s residents’ association to recover hidden corruption money. What begins as a personal mission gradually turns into a larger fight as he becomes entangled in the lives of fellow residents and evolves into an unlikely neighborhood hero.
2. The East Palace

Premiering in its entirety on July 17, The East Palace is a Netflix original that combines historical drama, fantasy, and horror. Nam Joo-hyuk stars as Gu Cheon, a demon hunter capable of traveling between the worlds of the living and the dead. During his investigation into long-buried secrets hidden inside the royal palace, he teams up with palace maid Saeng Gang, portrayed by Roh Yoon-seo, who possesses the ability to hear ghosts. As mysterious supernatural events unfold, the pair find themselves drawn into a dark world where the line between life and death becomes increasingly blurred.
3. Spooky In Love

Arriving on July 18, Spooky In Love is a tvN drama that will also be available on Netflix. The fantasy romantic comedy stars Park Eun-bin as Cheon Yeo-ri, the heiress to a wealthy conglomerate who secretly possesses the ability to see ghosts. Anyone who touches her hand can temporarily see the spirits she encounters. Her life changes after meeting Ma Gang-wook, a ghost-fearing prosecutor played by Yang Se-jong. Together, they begin investigating mysterious cases, and their reluctant partnership gradually develops into mutual understanding and romance.
4. Our Sticky Love

Set for release on August 7, Our Sticky Love is a Netflix original romantic comedy. The story follows Go Eun-sae, played by Ha Young, a talented prosecutor who loses her memory after suffering an accident while investigating a criminal organization. After waking up in a rural village, she meets Jang Tae-ha, a former youth boxing champion portrayed by Jung Hae-in. Claiming to be her boyfriend, Tae-ha pulls Eun-sae into a relationship filled with humorous moments while both gradually uncover long-hidden secrets from their pasts.
In addition to these four dramas, Netflix is also expected to release several more Korean productions during the third quarter of the year. Upcoming titles include the action-comedy film Mission: Cross 2 starring Hwang Jung-min and Yum Jung-ah, the psychological crime film Mousetrap featuring Ryu Jun-yeol and Sol Kyung-gu, and the historical romance drama The Scandal starring Ji Chang-wook and Son Ye-jin.
