These actors received much love when they were kids.
Once highly appreciated for their acting and appearance when they were young, but these child actors grew up to look unrecognizable and no longer draw keen attention with their roles.
1. Choi Woo Hyuk
With a handsome face and great acting potential, Choi Woo Hyuk used to be a popular child actor. He garnered much attention in the early 2000s thanks to his role in Autumn in My Heart and especially Glass Slippers. However, nearly 2 decades later, Choi Woo Hyuk seems to disappear from Korea’s entertainment industry as his latest roles all failed to leave an impression. Choi Woo Hyuk’s visuals as an adult compared to his child actor days are also said to be a letdown. He no longer exudes the same refreshing and radiant vibes like when he was younger.
Previously, he starred in The Iron Empress, Jungle Fish 2 in supporting roles. His last work is Yeonnamdong 539 (2018). In these parts, Choi Woo Hyuk mostly had little screen time, showing not too memorable acting or beauty, making the audience gradually forget about him.
2. Shin Dong Woo
Shin Dong Woo, who used to be compared to an angle when taking on the role of young Lee Dong Chul (Song Seung Hun) in East of Eden (2008), has rarely been seen on screen recently. Due to some news, his career seems to encounter many hardships since he’s not as handsome as he used to be. Specifically, after a supporting role in Avengers Social Club (2017), Shin Dong Woo did not participate in any other drama projects.
3. Kim Sung Eun
24 years ago, Kim Sung Eun was called an acting prodigy because of her excellent acting skill and her lovely appearance. However, when time goes by, her appearance is said to be “poorer” when compared to her younger self. The career of this female star has also faded.
