KBS 2TV’s new entertainment show “Hong Kim Coin” (directed by Park In-seok and Lee Myung-seop) is an old-school variety show where one’s fate can be changed with coins. With Hong Jin-kyung, Kim Sook, Cho Se-ho, Joo Woo-jae, and Woo-young appearing, the show is also drawing attention as the work of PD Park In-seok of “1 Night 2 Days Season 3,” “Sister’s Slam Dunk 1, 2” and writer Choi Eun-young of “Battle Trip”.
The fourth episode of “Hong Kim Coin,” which airs on August 11th, is a “Summer Vacation Best Friend Special,” with Hong Jin-kyung’s best friend Gree, Kim Sook’s best friend Kyung-ri, Cho Se-ho‘s best friend Irene, Joo Woo-jae’s best friend Lee Ki-kwang, and Woo-young’s best friend Sandara Park.
Among them, while talking about their “dark history,” Woo-young reveals his dark history in Busan, drawing attention. “I went to Busan for a vacation with my friends, and there was a family of 3 generations in the same elevator with me, including the grandmother, her children, and her grandchildren,” Woo-young said. “Her daughter recognized me. the grandmother also recognized me,” he said.
Woo-young then realistically conveyed the embarrassing situation at the time after the grandmother seemed to know him, saying, “I was shy, so I said, ‘Thank you’ before passing her.”

She said, “Guys, it’s BIGBANG‘s Junho!” and everyone burst out laughing at the scene. 2PM Woo-young, who quickly became “BIGBANG’s Jun-ho” with an embarrassed face as if the pain of that day came to back to him, and the “powerful attack” from the Busan grandmother were enough to give everyone a laugh enough to blow the heat.
Hong Jin-kyung, who heard about Woo-young’s dark history, continued the dark history parade, saying she had a similar past. Hong Jin-kyung said that a person who seemed to be her acquaintance saw her at Myeong-dong and asked for a handshake. As she also reached out her hand, saying, “Who are you? Who are you?”, a hand suddenly came out from behind me. All three of us then shook hands with each other,” she said. After hearing this, Kim Sook and Cho Se-ho reenacted the situation at the time, making the scene a sea of laughter.
The members’ dark history parade, including the story of Woo-young becoming Jun-ho and the story of Hong Jin-kyung shaking hands with strangers at the same time, will be revealed through “Hong Kim Coin” on the evening of August 11th.
