2NE1’s Sandara Park Suggests Encore Concerts in Bigger Venues

The group 2NE1 has announced an encore concert

On October 5th at 6 PM, the “2024 2NE1 CONCERT [WELCOME BACK] IN SEOUL” was held at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Bangi-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul. The three-day Seoul concert, which took place from October 4th to 6th, sold out quickly, even including restricted-view seats, proving 2NE1‘s enduring popularity.

At the end of the concert, CL expressed gratitude, saying, “I’m thankful we could gather on such a meaningful day.” Dara reminisced, “This place (Olympic Hall) holds special meaning as it was where we held our first concert.” She added, “Our fans have had a tough time, but thank you for waiting so long. Memories from our time as 2NE1 are flooding back. Prepare for our future stages. CL will blow you away.”

Minzy also shared, “While preparing for this concert, I reconnected with people we used to work with. I love you all, and I love Blackjacks (2NE1’s fandom).” Park Bom expressed, “I’m happy to be with all of you. Thank you to the members as well.”

In particular, Dara mentioned, “There are many who couldn’t come due to the ticket frenzy for this concert. So, I believe we must have an encore concert. In a slightly bigger venue.” Her comment received enthusiastic cheers from the fans. While CL appeared flustered, saying, “Nothing has been decided yet,” she hoped everyone would take home good memories after the concert, reflecting the positive energy they received that day.

Meanwhile, 2NE1 is set to kick off an Asia tour, with this Seoul concert as the starting point, which will include 15 performances across 9 cities. They plan to visit Manila, Jakarta, Kobe, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Bangkok, and Taipei to connect with more global fans.
