FIFTY FIFTY’s “Cupid” overwhelmingly took first place in 10 most-used tracks by TikTok users around the world in 2023. This is also the only K-pop song in the TOP 10. In particular, as many as 16 million posts on TikTok used the “Cupid” sound.
BLACKPINK placed third among 10 Most Viewed Artists on Global TikTok, the highest ranking for K-pop groups. The girl group was followed by No.4 BTS, No.6 Enhypen, No.8 LE SSERAFIM and No.9 NewJeans. Especially, K-pop accounted for half the TOP 10 with 5 spots.
The cumulative number of followers also proved that K-pop artists were very active in 2023. No.1 Kim Loaiza had 80 million followers and Selena Gomez had 59 million followers.
BLACKPINK had 47 million followers, and BTS attracted 63 million followers. Those are the two groups with extremely large fandoms.
Enhypen had 20 million followers, LE SSERAFIM with 8.6 million subscribers and NewJeans had 10 million subscribers. In fact, the number of followers does not 100% determine the number of views.
