These 2004-born celebrities will become adults this year.

The third Monday of May is the “Coming of Age” Day. It is a public event in Korea intended to celebrate adulthood and encourage the now-adults of their social responsibilities.

The 2004-born idols are boasting a bright future now that they are approaching adulthood. They are IVE Jang Won Young and Liz, NewJeans Minji and Hanni, StayC J and Yoon, NMIXX Sullyoon and BAE, BLITZERS Wooju, MCND Win, and ENHYPEN Jungwon. They are actively meeting their fans through active activities.

Recently, Jang Won Young and Liz came back with IVE’s full-length album “I’VE IVE”. The album is receiving great love as it topped the domestic digital charts as well as global ones such as Billboard Global 200.

Minji and Hanni are part of NewJeans who whipped up a sensation last year. Even now, their debut songs “Attention” and “Hype Boy” are maintaining top places in digital music charts. They were the first K-pop group to top Spotify’s Weekly Top Artist.

In addition, StayC made a successful debut in Japan. At the same time, NMIXX drew attention with unique sounds through each new album. Currently, NMIXX is embarking on a showcase tour across the U.S.

Additionally, ENHYPEN, Jungwon’s group, recently wrapped up their “KCON JAPAN 2023” activities. BLITZERS, including Wooju, participated in the climate crisis child sponsorship campaign Good Neighbors “DREAM COME TRUE”, an NGO specializing in universal children’s rights. Meanwhile, MCND Win took the stage of the 2023 K-Travel Week in UAE, held in Dubai Festival City, the United Arab Emirates, for two days from May 5th to the 6th (local time).
