In particular, the post brought up an episode of the Japanese variety program “The Music Day”, which featured LE SSERAFIM Sakura and Kazuha, where the two female idols were constantly asked questions with sexual tones.

The MC started by asking if Sakura and Kazuha know how much a night in a luxury hotel room costs, before asking if they have gone to a hotel with men. Then, when Sakura and Kazuha expressed their awkwardness and said they didn’t know, the MC refused to let them off.

He posed a variety of questions with sexual harrassment undertones, such as, “Why? You must have been there with your boyfriends, no?”, “Why are you acting like you don’t know anything about this?”

Watching the show, many Kpop fans are completely enraged by the questions, calling the MC a pervert and rude. They also left comments like, “If the MC has been in Korea, he’d be skinned alive with no chance of appearing anymore.”

However, there are still some netizens that defend the Japanese host, claiming that there are cultural differences between Japan and Korea, and that those questions are completely fine towards Japanese celebrities.

Some even pointed their anger towards the K-pop industry itself, calling Kpop fans “hypocrites” and saying that Kpop is also pushing underage idols to sing sexual songs.
