1 day after former member Dawn announced engagement, PENTAGON shedded tears for getting first major music show win

PENTAGON was honored with the first national channel’s music show win since their debut on “Music Bank.”

On KBS2’s “Music Bank,” which aired on February 4th, PENTAGON and IVE clashed for the No.1 trophy. On this day, Pentagon presented an ecstatic stage with its new song “Feelin’ Like,” and got its big music show trophy for the first time since its debut. 

PENTAGON members showed off their splendid visuals with luxurious suit styling, and an all-time quality performance by fascinating viewers at once with their relaxed live skills.

“This win was created by the staff, employees, managers, members’ families, choreography teams, producers, captain Hui and Universe, who always prayed and worked harder for us than we did,” Pentagon members said. “We will become the PENTAGON that always tries to be humble.”

The members who were expressing their gratitude to their fans also burst into tears with red eyes. After the broadcast, PENTAGON expressed its feelings about winning first place on a national TV music show for the first time since its debut through its agency.

Hong Seok said, “It’s an honor to win the first place on a national TV channel since our debut, and we’ll remember it for the rest of our life,” while Woo Seok said, “When something so unimaginable came true in front of my eyes, various emotions swirled in my heart. I believe this wonderful time has come to us because of the presence of Universe. I think spring has come early for PENTAGON this winter,” he said, expressing his feelings full of love for fans.

Fans were delighted with PENTAGON’s achievement and responded, “I’m happy they finally won first place after 1943 days,” and “I cried with them.” 

Meanwhile, PENTAGON is actively promoting its new song “Feelin’ Like.” Following “Feelin’ Like” topping the Bugs Music Chart, all their newly released songs have settled at the top, proving their hot popularity. PENTAGON debuted in 2016 with 9 members. In 2018, member E’Dawn left the group after confirming his romantic relationship with Hyuna. On February 3rd, the two announced their engagement through Instagram.
