ZEROBASEONE Named in Billboard’s Best Album of the First Half of 2024

5th gen K-pop boy group ZEROBASEONE (ZB1) has made a significant impact on the North American market.

ZEROBASEONE has achieved recognition for their third mini-album, which was named as a Best Album in the 1st Half of 2024 by Billboard. They have also garnered enthusiastic responses from local fans with their performances at the GRAMMY Museum’s performance series and ‘KCON LA 2024,’ continuing their impressive momentum in the North American market.

According to an article published on Billboard’s official website on July 8 (local time), ZEROBASEONE’s mini third album “You had me at HELLO”, released last May, was selected as one of the “20 Best K-Pop Albums of 2024”. Billboard praised the album, stating, “While listeners can expect polished production and some of the year’s catchiest melodies from ZEROBASEONE, the sensational boy band’s latest shows depth and range that deserves a deeper listen.”

On July 25, ZEROBASEONE appeared in the GRAMMY Museum’s ‘Global Spin Live,’ a series highlighting global artists, where they impressed local industry professionals and fans with their professional stage presence. The nine members performed their debut song ‘In Bloom’ and the refreshing ‘Feel the POP,’ engaging with fans through various discussions about their musical journey. Tickets for the performance sold out quickly, and fans at the venue sang along to ZEROBASEONE’s songs, demonstrating their popularity.

ZEROBASEONE’s activities in North America continued as they participated in the KCON LA 2024, a K-POP Fan & Artist Festival in Los Angeles from July 26 to 28. They delivered diverse performances, including hit songs and cover stages, captivating global fans with their vibrant energy and powerful choreography. During the main stage performance on the final day, they also surprised fans with a teaser for their upcoming fourth mini-album “CINEMA PARADISE”.

Meanwhile, ZEROBASEONE, who has achieved ‘million-seller’ status with their three consecutive albums released in Korea, is set to make a comeback with their fourth mini album “CINEMA PARADISE” on August 26.
