The controversy stemmed from a September 6 appearance on the YouTube channel “Ggondaehee” alongside fellow member Seok Matthew. During the show, Matthew commented, “Han Bin has a clean image, but whenever we drive over speed bumps, he makes a funny sound.” Pretending at first not to know, Sung Han Bin explained that when hitting speed bumps too hard, they had an inside joke. He then reenacted the moment by making a sound resembling a woman’s moan, followed by saying “Yummy” in a high-pitched voice.

The clip quickly spread online, where some netizens criticized the sound as an inappropriate sexual joke, calling it “unpleasant” and “crossing the line.”

As the criticism grew, Sung Han Bin issued a direct apology. The controversial portion has been edited out of the video.
