Sasaeng fans continue to be one of the darkest realities many K-pop idols face behind the scenes. From invasion of privacy to stalking and harassment, numerous celebrities have previously spoken out about the frightening situations they have experienced because of obsessive fans.

Recently, Yuta opened up about his own disturbing encounters with sasaengs during an appearance on Naokiman Show’s Urban Legend Wide Show Season 3.

During the conversation, the NCT member discussed how the group has dealt with stalker fans over the years and revealed several unsettling incidents involving his personal life.

Yuta explained that some sasaengs somehow managed to obtain his private phone number. Even after changing it, he claimed that certain individuals were still able to contact him. According to the idol, one sasaeng even texted him asking why he had changed his number in the first place.

However, one particular incident reportedly crossed the line even further.

Yuta shared that a sasaeng once sent him a completely nude photo through text messages. Along with the explicit image, the individual allegedly wrote, “I’m ready whenever you are.”

The shocking revelation quickly sparked reactions online, with many fans condemning the behavior and calling it a clear form of harassment. Many also expressed concern over how easily sasaengs continue to gain access to idols’ personal information despite increasing security measures within the entertainment industry.

Sasaeng culture has remained a serious issue in K-pop for years, with many idols previously revealing that they had been followed, secretly photographed, contacted illegally, or even forced to relocate because of persistent stalkers. Yuta’s latest story once again highlighted the extreme invasions of privacy that celebrities continue to endure.
