YouTuber Lee Jin Ho reveals messenger conversation containing evidence of mail deletion by The Givers’ employees

YouTuber Lee Jin Ho made public a messenger conversation containing evidence of mail deletion by The Givers’ employees.

The controversy arose when FIFTY FIFTY’s agency Attrakt sued The Givers’ Director B, accusing him of electronic record tampering and obstruction of business. Lee Jin Ho claimed that Attrakt requested a handover of relevant materials from The Givers after setting up their own marketing team in May. However, The Givers delayed the transfer of work-related emails and information despite the request made on May 10th. During this period, CEO Jeon Hong Joon traveled to the U.S. for business purposes.

According to Lee Jin Ho, Attrakt’s employees in Korea raised concerns as they did not receive the requested emails from The Givers. The situation persisted for over a month until June 16th. Subsequently, Attrakt examined related issues one by one while receiving proof of contents from the members. During this process, it was discovered that The Givers’ employees had deleted relevant emails. It is known that once 25 days pass after email deletion, recovery becomes impossible.

Lee Jin Ho mentioned that some critical information had been recovered from the emails that were deleted in early June. He revealed that Slack, a messenger platform, served as a communication channel between The Givers and Attrakt, and he exclusively disclosed the content of the conversation between Director B and The Givers’ employees.

In the disclosed messages, one employee suggested that Director B should back up all data related to The Givers then destroy it.

When asked for an official statement, The Givers’ CEO Ahn Sung Il stated that it was difficult to make an official statement as the matter was under investigation. Lee Jin Ho expressed shock upon learning that The Givers had omitted certain advertisements received by FIFTY FIFTY members, as reported by the media. This further confirmed that Director B had tampered with the data.
