Popular idols, such as EXO Suho, MONSTA X Kihyun, BTOB Lee Chang-sub, Seventeen Boo Seung-kwan, and (G)I-DLE Yuqi & Minnie, have already visited Lee Mu-jin’s studio. Showcasing various music stages that the singers could not do while carrying out group activities, the show gained much attention and exceeded 4 million views with their videos. Rookie idols, such as LE SSERAFIM Kim Chae-won & Huh Yun-jin, and Kep1er Kim Chae-hyun, also appeared on this program to introduce their names to the public.

Crush has launched a new series called “BLACKVOX” on his Youtube channel “Crush”. On this show, Crush will give a fellow singer a drive in his car and have some music-related conversations. Through the “Give me a minute” series on his official Youtube channel, Zico met with the rapper group Homies, EXO D.O, and comedian duo Mad Monster. He has also invited stars and celebrities from various fields, including comedian Jang Do-yeon and producer Kim Tae-ho, to gather new responses.

Each of them is producing content with the aim to listen to stories from various people. As the friendships between the hosts and idols and stars have proved their strength in the casting process, these talk shows are expected to become famous variety programs with splendid casts.

● Broadcasting companies are also “reviving” this kind of format

Realizing that they are falling behind web entertainment programs, TV broadcasters are reviving performance talk shows with busking stages. SBS will begin to air “The Listen: Our Favorite Voices” on October 29th with busking performances by various singers, such as Huh Gak, Shin Young-jae, and HIGHLIGHT Son Dong-woon. “Sing Forest”, which ended last month, is expected to continue as a season program with the participation of Gummy and Baek Ji-young, who will introduce various stages of singers. KBS is also discussing specific methods with the goal of broadcasting a follow-up program to “Yoo Hee-yeol’s Sketchbook”, wich ended in July, early next year.
