Rumors that Yoon Eun Hye and Park Yoochun were dating first emerged in 2013 following their chemistry in the hit drama Missing You. On June 29, Korean outlet Sports Chosun reported that Yoon Eun Hye appeared as a guest on SBS’s My Little Old Boy, where she unexpectedly addressed her relationship status.

During the broadcast, host Shin Dong Yup asked, "I heard you haven't dated anyone for about 14 years. Is that true?" Without hesitation, Yoon Eun Hye confirmed the claim, saying, "Yes. I haven't dated anyone since I was 29 years old. I haven't even had a brief relationship during those 14 years." Her statement effectively dismissed the long-running rumors that she had been romantically involved with Park Yoochun following Missing You.

Born in 1984, Yoon Eun Hye debuted at just 15 years old as a member of the legendary girl group Baby V.O.X. With her youthful visuals and charming image, she quickly became one of the first-generation K-pop icons. After the group disbanded in 2006, she shifted her focus to acting and achieved widespread success across Asia through hit dramas including Princess Hours, The Vineyard Man, and Coffee Prince. Her fashion and beauty style also became a trend among fans throughout the region.

Besides Park Yoochun, Yoon Eun Hye has also been linked to several other well-known Korean stars over the years, including Ju Ji Hoon, Gong Yoo, and Kim Jong Kook. However, she has never publicly confirmed any of those dating rumors.

Among them, her rumored romance with Kim Jong Kook has attracted the most media attention. In July last year, Sports Chosun published an article claiming there was evidence the two had once been in a relationship. The report pointed out that both stars had visited the same location on June 10, 2008, and separately shared photos and messages of appreciation with the exact same date attached.

After the report circulated, online speculation reignited, with many believing the pair had secretly dated in the past. Dating rumors between Kim Jong Kook and Yoon Eun Hye first began during their appearances on SBS's variety show X-Man, and they have continued to resurface over the years. Despite the constant speculation, neither star has ever confirmed a romantic relationship.
Park Yoochun, meanwhile, was born in 1986 and debuted at the age of 17 as a member of the legendary group TVXQ. During his time with the group, he helped achieve some of K-pop's most historic accomplishments. In 2009, he, along with Jaejoong and Junsu, filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment over what they described as an unfair long-term contract before later forming JYJ. He also established himself as an actor through successful dramas including Sungkyunkwan Scandal, Miss Ripley, and Missing You.

Despite his successful entertainment career, Park Yoochun eventually became one of the most controversial figures in the Korean entertainment industry due to a series of personal scandals. In 2016, four women accused him of sexual assault. Although he was ultimately cleared of all four allegations, the controversy continued for years. One of the accusers later pursued a lengthy legal battle after Park filed a countersuit for defamation. The woman was found not guilty and subsequently sued him for damages. The court eventually ordered Park Yoochun to pay her more than 50 million won in compensation.

His legal troubles did not end there. In 2019, Park Yoochun tested positive for illegal drug use. A Korean court sentenced him to 10 months in prison, suspended for two years, imposed a fine, and ordered him to complete a mandatory drug rehabilitation program for violating the country’s narcotics laws.
He later became embroiled in additional controversies, including allegations involving female fans, tax-related issues, and accusations made by his longtime manager. The former manager claimed that Park Yoochun had dated more than 50 women and had even lived with a married woman. Following years of scandals, the singer-actor has effectively disappeared from mainstream Korean broadcasting.
