On April 14, Yoon Eun Hye shared a new video on her personal YouTube channel, where she read subscribers’ stories and offered heartfelt advice.

During the video, she particularly resonated with an arts high school student who expressed losing passion for playing the piano. Hearing the concern, Yoon Eun Hye admitted that it reminded her of her own feelings about work.

“I’m also in a profession where I’m constantly evaluated,” she said. “I’ve been in that kind of environment for nearly 30 years, and that has always brought a sense of depression to me. Even now, I struggle with very low self-esteem.”

Despite these honest confessions, Yoon Eun Hye emphasized that her love for her career remains strong. “I still really like what I do,” she explained. “There are moments of frustration, disappointment, failure, and sadness, but I still find myself enjoying this work. There are times when I feel like doing nothing at all, but overall, I think I genuinely enjoy what I do rather than forcing myself.”

She went on to offer advice to the student, encouraging them to reconnect with their original passion. “You need to love what you do and enjoy expressing it,” she said. “If you lose that joy, that’s the saddest thing. Try to remember why you loved it in the first place—like recalling your ‘first love’ for it.”

Yoon Eun Hye’s heartfelt words have resonated with many viewers, shedding light on the often unseen emotional toll of a long career in the spotlight while also offering comfort and encouragement to those facing similar struggles.
