Kakao Entertainment announced on December 11 that ZIP Cinema will be producing The Perfect Lie, marking the company’s official entry into drama production. With a portfolio that includes Jeon Woochi: The Taoist Wizard, Broker, and The Black Nun, the studio has long been recognized for its creative planning and strong storytelling across genres. The move into drama signals a significant expansion for the renowned film studio.
The Perfect Lie is described as a psychological thriller centered around a man and a woman who hold completely different versions of a shared memory. Their conflicting truths collide as they desperately pursue what they each believe is real.
