Yoo Seung Ho will appear in the upcoming SBS Friday-Saturday drama Flex X Cop 2, scheduled to air in the second half of the year. The series follows a rebellious third-generation chaebol who becomes a violent crimes detective, delivering a flashy investigation style where money and influence are used to fight crime.
The drama belongs to SBS’s popular “cathartic universe,” known for hits like Taxi Driver, The Fiery Priest, and One Dollar Lawyer. With its unique “FLEX investigation” concept, the series has already built a strong fanbase. Director Kim Jae Hong and writer Kim Bada, who led Season 1, reunite once again, while Ahn Bo Hyun returns in the title role of Jin Yi Soo. Actress Jung Eun Chae also joins as his new partner, raising anticipation further.

Amid this star-studded lineup, Yoo Seung Ho’s special appearance has become a major highlight. His cameo came about through his previous collaboration with director Kim Jae Hong on the drama My Strange Hero.
In the series, Yoo Seung Ho will play Yoo Sung Won, the youngest son of a powerful media conglomerate family and a sculptor. His character forms a close, brother-like relationship with Jin Yi Soo through their shared connections among chaebol heirs. This sets the stage for an intriguing dynamic between Ahn Bo Hyun’s “original chaebol character” and Yoo Seung Ho’s “new chaebol figure.”

Fans are especially excited to see Yoo Seung Ho back on television after such a long hiatus. Now in his 27th year since debut, he has built a reputation as a versatile and reliable actor through projects like The Way Home, Remember, The Emperor: Owner of the Mask, and stage productions such as Angels in America and Killing Caesar.
With his wide acting range, viewers are eager to see what new side he will bring to the energetic and stylish world of Flex X Cop 2.
Yoo Seung Ho last greeted viewers in 2023 through the Wavve series The Deal, making this upcoming appearance even more highly anticipated.
