On the August 12 broadcast of SBS variety show Whenever Possible, Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok toured Ahyeon-dong with guests Ji Jin-hee and Ji Suk-jin, reminiscing about their childhoods along the retro streets.
Actor Ji Jin-hee first shared, “I was often robbed in alleyways like these,” sparking Yoo Jae-suk’s own confession: “All of us here were kids who were robbed. That’s why we can last in the entertainment industry for a long time,” he joked.
Ji Suk-jin added his own anecdote, saying he was once taken to a bully’s house on a motorcycle: “Oddly, I didn’t lose any money that time. His mom cut us some melons,” drawing laughter from the group.
Yoo Jae-suk, often dubbed Korea’s “National MC,” reflected on his past with humor: “I lost a lot of money to older bullies back then, but they’d make sure to give me a bus ticket home.”
The segment not only revealed a more personal side of the beloved host but also showcased the camaraderie between the cast, turning tough memories into moments of shared laughter.
