Yoo Jae-seok mentioned Kim Jong-min’s difficult time on “Hangout With Yoo”
In the latest episode of MBC’s entertainment show “Hangout With Yoo,” aired on the afternoon of November 4th, for the first time, the full version and choreography of the project group One Top’s debut song were released.
In this episode, Haha recommended Kim Jong-min as a candidate for the main vocalist position.
Yoo Jae-seok watched ‘the 2016 KBS Entertainment Awards’ while looking at Kim Jong-min’s resume. When mentioning Kim Jong-min’s Daesang at this awards ceremony, Haha said, “I cried when he won the entertainment award Daesang. We cried for six months during when we were having a hard time,” he confessed.
Kim Jong-min and Haha reportedly returned to the entertainment industry through the programs “2 Days 1 Night” and “Infinite Challenge,” respectively, but failed to quickly adapt to the pressure caused by their previous hiatus. There were also a lot of malicious comments from some netizens regarding their disappointing performance on the shows.
Yoo Jae-seok said, “At that time, Haha and Jong-min returned and got into a similar situation,” adding, “It’s been a long time since I’ve known Jong-min, Jong-min is not the type to show his difficulties in most things. However Jong-min really had a hard time. He cried a lot then, but he endured and overcame it,” he recalled.
Kim Jong-min worked for seven more years until he won the entertainment award. Ha-ha added, “He proved it with his Daesang.”
