Sandara Park shared her feelings on the performance with 2NE1 members after 6 years.
On April 19th, Sandara Park posted several photos on her Instagram along with the caption saying “It wasn’t like a dream, it was so real. It didn’t feel like 7 years. Even though the time we were apart was longer than the time we worked together, we were all surprised and happy because we had such good chemistry.”
The photos showed 2NE1 members on the stage of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2022 held in Indio, California, USA.
2NE1‘s stage as a whole, which was performed for the first time in about 7 years since 2015, moved many fans. 2NE1 suddenly disbanded in 2016, and it was recently known that YG made a unilateral decision without considering the members’ opinions in the process of disbandment. Therefore, the appearance of 2NE1 members on one stage drew more attention.
Sandara Park continued, “I feel like I’ve found my original self again… That comfort… Sense of stability… It looks like 4 puzzles are finally put together. The ten days we spent together in America were really happy. I don’t know when it will be again… but I hope that the day we can be together again will come. Let’s continue to support each other and work hard in our respective places!!! I hope it was a good gift for Blackjacks who have been waiting for a long time.”
Then she added, “Our amazing members, our most reliable leader and everyone who has helped us, thank you and I love you. Let’s play 2NE1~!!!”
Meanwhile, Sandara Park and 2NE1 members performed on the stage of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2022 held in Indio, California, USA on April 16th (local time). After 7 years of disbandment, 2NE1 garnered a lot of attention by performing “I Am The Best” as a whole.
