On the June 17 episode of World Street Woman Fighter (WSWF), viewers witnessed the continuation of the ‘World of K-pop’ mission followed by the season’s first elimination battle. According to Nielsen Korea, the broadcast scored a peak rating of 2.0% and average rating of 1.7% in Seoul, maintaining the show’s momentum. It also ranked No.1 for four consecutive weeks in the 1539 and 2049 target demographics and achieved a 95.3% live viewing share on TVING.
The show has also topped Good Data Corporation’s FUNdex chart in the TV-OTT non-drama category for three weeks running, and claimed No.1 in total TV-OTT buzz for the second week of June.

The K-pop mission featured intense matchups:
- MOTIV vs. Osaka Ojo Gang (G-Dragon),
- BUMSUP vs. RHTokyo (Jennie),
- AG SQUAD vs. Royal Family (aespa).
Each round included a unique “choreography copy challenge”, where crews replicated each other’s moves mid-performance a key moment that could decide the winner.
MOTIV and Osaka Ojo Gang battled with their signature styles—waacking and breaking. MOTIV showcased high-level techniques, while Osaka Ojo Gang impressed with a more K-pop-style performance. Member Hana earned applause for mastering a tumbling move after intense practice. Though both crews tied in judge scores, MOTIV won by public vote.

BUMSUP and RHTokyo’s performance of Jennie’s track brought iconic energy, with BUMSUP ultimately claiming victory thanks to a surge in global fan support despite RHTokyo scoring higher from the judges.
In the aespa round, long-time rivals AG SQUAD and Royal Family faced off. AG SQUAD’s intricate choreography with white gloves earned them the top spot in the K-pop mission. Members Ka’ea and Kyra were brought to tears after the emotional win.
This sent Royal Family into a do-or-die elimination battle against Osaka Ojo Gang. The 5-round faceoff featured intense judging by Mike Song, BabySleek, Baek Gu-young, Ashley Everett, and Kazuki Yoya. Osaka Ojo Gang took early wins in the team and ace battles, but Royal Family fought back in the relay battle. However, the decisive leader battle in Round 5 secured Osaka Ojo Gang’s survival.
Royal Family became the first crew eliminated from ‘WSWF,’ and leader Teesha thanked the show for an unforgettable journey. “This isn’t the end of Royal Family. We’re moving on to the next step,” she said, highlighting the emotional camaraderie and respect among dancers across nations.

The episode ended by previewing the upcoming Mega Crew mission, introduced by BLACKPINK’s Jennie. Each crew will return to their home country to craft a performance showcasing their national identity. A high-angle camera challenge will add a new twist to this large-scale mission.
Global voting for the Mega Crew mission is open until 6 PM KST on June 22 via YouTube channel The CHOOM.
