Appearing on the popular YouTube show No Back Tak Jae-hoon alongside fellow Wonder Girls member Sunye, Hyelim opened up about the ups and downs of her long-term relationship before marriage.
During the episode, host Tak Jae-hoon brought up rumors that Hyelim had repeatedly suggested breaking up because she wanted to experience dating other men.
Responding honestly, Hyelim explained that her situation was somewhat different. “I dated my husband for a very long time. I wasn’t the type to juggle multiple relationships at once. Instead, we would break up, I would briefly date someone else, and then we would get back together.” Her confession surprised the cast, but Hyelim spoke calmly about the experience, explaining that a long relationship naturally came with different emotions and periods of uncertainty.
