WJSN member and solo artist Dayoung has become the subject of online discussion once again, with her skin tone sparking fresh debate among Korean netizens.
Since launching her solo career, Dayoung has embraced a noticeably different image from her girl group days. The singer has adopted a more confident and mature style, frequently showcasing her naturally darker complexion. She previously revealed that during her promotions with WJSN, she often wore body makeup several shades lighter than her actual skin tone.
Because of the dramatic contrast between her appearance as a group member and her current look, speculation about whether she regularly tans has continued to follow her. However, Dayoung has consistently denied those claims whenever the topic comes up.
In a past conversation, fellow entertainer Lee Si An directly asked if she used tanning treatments. Dayoung immediately responded that she did not. When another host commented that she looked sunburned, the idol explained that she had simply chosen to embrace her natural appearance rather than alter it.
