In the 3rd episode, Oh Soo-jae was seen facing a crisis. Following Park So-young (Hong Ji-young)’s death being confirmed as a homicide, not a suicide, and the claim of Park So-young’s brother Park Ji-young (Park Ji-won) that the criminal was Oh Soo-jae, a video taken from the roof of TK law firm on the day of the incident was released and Oh Soo-jae was branded a “murderer”.

When everyone pointed their fingers at Oh Soo-jae and criticized her, Gong Chang (Hwang In-yeop) was the only person who stayed on Oh Soo-jae’s side. Gong Chan expressed his absolute faith in Oh Soo-jae, saying “Professor can’t be the murderer. Don’t worry too much about the video. That’s definitely not you, professor.”

Why Her

Oh Soo-jae began to be curious about Gong Chan who showed his belief in her. In particular, she watched Gong Chan more and more carefully after his confession. At the end of the broadcast, a kiss scene of the two was revealed. This was the part that shows Oh Soo-jae’s changes in her emotions after meeting Gong Chan.

Why Her

Gong Chan mentioned Park Ji-young being urgently arrested on charges of murdering Park So-young and emphasized that even if she handed over her investigation data to the police, he would only believe in Oh Soo-jae. Gong Chan, who can’t stop caring for Oh Soo-jae, said “I said I liked you but you don’t need to answer it. It’s just my one-sided love. That’s how I feel.” Oh Soo-jae felt confused with complicated thoughts when Gong Chan left. Then, she accidentally dropped the glass.

Why Her

Upon hearing the sound, Gong Chan returned. He hugged Oh Soo-jae, lifted her up and put her on the desk then cleaned up the broken glasses. With her heat being shaken by Gong Chan once again, Oh Soo-jae asked “Who are you?” and kissed him. The fact that Oh Soo-jae shed tears and suddenly kissed Gong Chan suggested a change in her heart. Therefore, it also raised the viewers’ curiosity about how the two’s relationship would change in the future.

Why Her

The rating of “Why Her” rose sharply thanks to the Seo Hyun-jin and Hwang In-yeop’s kiss ending. The drama, which tells the painful but exciting romance of Oh Soo-jae, a cold-hearted lawyer who became empty after pursuing only success, and the law school student Gong Chan, who protects Oh Soo-jae unconditionally, airs every Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m.
