Wendy reveals diet routine “Using the treadmill with sauna suits on, eating properly at 8 PM”

Red Velvet's Wendy revealed her thorough self-care routine

On May 24th, a video titled “There’s a reason why we’re close, right? Wendy Seulgi’s Vacation Life” was posted on Seulgi’s YouTube channel “Hi Seulgi”.

Seulgi expressed her curiosity to Wendy, “I’m curious what you do on your days off. I’ve only met you when we were working together lately. We never got to meet up outside of work because we were so busy. You say you’re always at home, but you can’t be lying down at home all day.” Wendy firmly said “I am“, causing laughter.

Wendy then outlined her daily routine for her days off. She explained, “I wake up in the morning and take supplements with a glass of water on an empty stomach. I always get the supplements for a week ready in advance. My goal is to go get some cardio done straight after. But cardio on an empty stomach is not for everyone. If you have anemia, cardio on an empty stomach is not good, but I think it suits me. But it’s hard to do it when my body feels heavy. I haven’t been able to go lately. I use the treadmill. With sauna suits on.

Wendy added, “I go to my pilates lesson at noon or at one in the afternoon.” Seulgi remarked, “Your body line has become a lot prettier. I’m not sure if it’s after you started going to the pilates class, but this part of your shoulders (trapezius) disappeared, and you look great.

Wendy continued, “It used to be like this. Such narrow shoulders. It gets pretty intense before the promotion period. But if I do too much weight training, my body gets too muscly and doesn’t look all that pretty, so I normally try to focus on stretching my body before the promotion period.”

Wendy shared, “I like getting beauty treatments. Getting massages for example. I try to get some sort of treatment for at least two to three hours a day. I swell so easily, you know. The more I try to be careful, I think I swell even more. I try to eat sodium… If I get puffy, that’s fine. I just have Americano in the morning or take a bath. I’m trying to find the right routine for me.”

Wendy suggested, “Around 4 PM, let’s eat.” Surprised, Seulgi responded, “You still didn’t eat anything!” Wendy explained, “I don’t normally have breakfast. Around this time, I would get hungry and eat something light in between. Eight in the evening… This is the time for a proper meal. But I take a long time to eat. One and a half hours?
