Ulzzang/Youtuber Kang Hyuk Min reported his shocking current situation after losing a lawsuit filed by a plastic surgeon.
Earlier on February 27th, Kang Hyuk Min uploaded a YouTube video revealing that he was sued by a plastic surgeon. Apparently, the YouTuber ended up losing the lawsuit, leading to him having to pay 70 million won for damage compensation.
“10 years ago, I suffered side effects after undergoing a cheek implant surgery and had to get the implant removed at another hospital. I wanted to tell others to be careful, so I uploaded a video without showing the name of the hospital. I have been threatened by that plastic surgery clinic for the past two years”, Kang Hyuk Min explained in the video.
Then, on February 28th, Kang Hyuk Min wrote a post on Instagram about his situation and asked for help.
“Until the moment I’m writing this post, I’ve stayed up several nights thinking about this. It was so scary”, he said, adding, “I’m not going to let this issue go any further. I feel upset, painful, and unfair, but at times like this, I’m going to try to be braver and stronger.”
He continued, “These days, it seems to be a world where you’ll just get fooled if you really put up with it. Of course, I’m lacking in strength. My bankbook was suddenly seized overnight, resulting in a huge debt. However, I’m still trying to have hope.”
Lastly, he appealed, “I don’t want to suffer from this absurdity any longer. I really want to win. Everyone, please help me.”
Kang Hyuk Min became popular as a “ulzzang” when his photos from modeling days drew attention online. He made his face known by appearing on Comedy TV’s entertainment show “Ulzzang Generation” hosted by Hong Young Ki.
Known as a close friend of Hong Young Ki, Kang Hyuk Min has continued this friendship by posting daily photos taken with Hong Young Ki on SNS and attending Hong Young Ki’s wedding held in September last year.
