Popular South Korean mukbang YouTuber Tzuyang, known for her massive food challenges and calm eating style, has shocked viewers by revealing the hidden hardships behind her viral success. Appearing on the latest episode of Omniscient Interfering View, the 27-year-old content creator candidly shared the reality of her daily routine — one that revolves almost entirely around food.

According to Tzuyang, her life as a mukbanger is far from easy or glamorous. “Honestly, living like me would be really inconvenient,” she confessed.

“Out of 24 hours, I have to eat for 18. Whenever I feel hungry, all I can think about is food and the desire to eat. I’m basically in that state all the time.”

While fans often admire her extraordinary appetite, Tzuyang revealed that the demanding nature of her job leaves her little room for anything else. “I also have my own struggles. I want to have hobbies, but because I have to spend so much time eating, I barely have any free time. So the only thing I can do is eat while reading comics,” she said. “I think people who have time to practice dancing or singing diligently are amazing. I hardly have time to try things like that.”

The YouTuber also admitted she once wished she could be someone who eats less. “People who don’t eat much can enjoy other things in life,” she shared. “Sometimes I really wanted to be like them — someone who finds joy in hobbies outside of eating.”

Her remarks quickly drew attention online, with many netizens expressing both sympathy and admiration. While some praised her dedication and discipline, others voiced concern over the physical and mental toll of maintaining a mukbang career.

Tzuyang remains one of Korea’s most successful mukbang stars, boasting millions of followers and global recognition. But her rare moment of vulnerability has sparked a broader conversation on the pressures mukbangers face — and the real cost behind appearing effortlessly insatiable on camera.
