After the success of Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, tvN is gearing up to launch another highly anticipated weekend drama. Titled Typhoon Company, the series will premiere on October 11, 2025, at 9:20 PM KST, starring Lee Jun-ho and Kim Min-ha.

Set against the backdrop of the 1997 Asian financial crisis, Typhoon Company follows the struggles of ordinary people forced to survive during one of Korea’s darkest economic periods.

At its heart is Kang Tae-poong (Lee Jun-ho), a rookie suddenly thrust into the role of company president despite lacking money, resources, or even employees. Beside him stands Oh Mi-sun (Kim Min-ha), an ace accountant whose logical mindset balances Tae-poong’s intuitive, risk-taking nature. Together, they must rebuild a failing trading company from the ground up.

In the newly released moving poster, viewers see the contrast between the two leads:

  • Kang Tae-poong declares, “I trust my instincts,” embodying the reckless yet hopeful energy of youth.
  • Oh Mi-sun counters, “I trust my logic,” representing rationality and resilience.

The clash and harmony of these two opposing personalities promise to create a powerful synergy as they face the storm of IMF together.

Jun-ho shared his thoughts: “Tae-poong and Mi-sun are complete opposites, but that’s what makes them the perfect partners. Their journey of struggling, growing, and supporting each other will bring warmth and smiles to viewers.”

Kim Min-ha added: “The synergy between these two characters is explosive. Their persistence and emotions may seem fragile at times, but it’s exactly those raw feelings that make their growth so moving.”

Beyond corporate struggles, Typhoon Company captures the resilience of ordinary people who refused to stop living despite the crisis. The drama blends youthful passion, romance, and human survival, offering both emotional depth and inspiring life lessons.

With its mix of romance, growth, and the harsh realities of survival during the IMF era, Typhoon Company is poised to continue tvN’s streak of hit dramas.

The series premieres October 11, 2025, at 9:20 PM KST on tvN, taking over the slot previously held by Bon Appétit, Your Majesty.
