TXT to return on May 9th with their fourth mini album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child”

Boy group TXT will make a surprise comeback on May 9th.

On April 14th, TXT announced the release of their fourth mini album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” on May 9th through the global fandom platform Weverse.

Starting with their debut album “The Dream Chapter: STAR“, TXT delivered the growth story of boys pursuing dreams through the series “The Dream Chapter”, from their first full album “The Dream Chapter: MAGIC” to their second mini album “The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY”. They then told a small story called “minisode 1: Blue Hour” in order to move on from “The Dream Chapter” to the next series.

TXT wrapped up the series “The Chaos Chapter” with the release of their second full album “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” and the repackage album “The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE” last year. “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” told the story of a boy who froze without being able to do anything due to a sudden attack on the world, and “The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE” depicted a boy’s urge to fight the world for “You” who appeared like a salvation.

TXT is gaining support from Generation Z around the world with trendy melodies, honest lyrics that evoke empathy and solid storytelling. Thanks to this, TXT broke their own record by ranking fifth on the U.S. Billboard’s main album chart “Billboard 200″ with “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” as well as achieved remarkable results on major global charts.

In particular, the series “The Chaos Chapter” released by TXT in 2021 was recognized as a “K-pop masterpiece of 2021” amid rave reviews from leading overseas media outlets. “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” and “The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE” were the only K-pop artists’ albums to be listed on “The 50 best albums of 2021” by British music magazine NME and America’s leading music magazine Rolling Stone, respectively.

Proving their unrivaled presence at home and abroad, TXT plans to continue their global craze with the fourth mini album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child”, which contains another growth story, raising expectations for their music and performance.

TXT’s fourth mini album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” will be available for pre-order at online and offline stores from April 14th. Details such as where the album is sold and its composition can be found in the announcement on Weverse.
