On January 6, the 38th Golden Disc Awards (hereinafter referred to as “2024 GDA”) was held at the Jakarta International Stadium in Indonesia.
Here, TXT (Tomorrow X Together) and Stray Kids were honored with Best Album awards (Physical Bonsang).
It is known that the Physical Bonsang is a major award at the 2024 GDA, aiming to honor artists with outstanding physical album sales.
During the event, TXT’s Soobin expressed gratitude to the fans, saying, “Thank you so much to our fans. We won two awards today, and I want to say it’s all thanks to the fans. Please look forward to our cool stages this year. We’ve started recording for our next album, and we’ll be back soon.”
Meanwhile, Stray Kids also shared their appreciation, thanking fans and stating, “Starting the new year with winning a main award gives me excitement. We want to express our gratitude to the JYP family, who are like real family members, in not just words. Many people worked hard behind the scenes until the album was released. We want to share this honor not only with ourselves but with everyone who contributed.”
It is known that the 2024 featured numerous artists, including NewJeans, SEVENTEEN, Parc Jae-jung, Stray Kids, IVE, ZeroBaseOne (ZB1), TXT, YB, La Poem, and LE SSERAFIM, among others.
