Here’s why JYP registered the trademark for “TWINZY”
After fans discovered JYP had trademarked the term “TWINZY,” they started speculating about the possibility of a project “Avengers” group similar to SM’s SuperM and GOT the Beat, with the lineups consisting of outstanding members from the company’s idol groups.
This rumor stems from the fact that TWINZY sounds like a fusion of JYP girl groups’ names, such as TWICE, ITZY, NMIXX, and NiziU.
However, on December 12, the truth came out. TWINZY isn’t a group name but the name of ITZY’s new character mascots. Turns out, they are kittens that resemble ITZY members.
Although the idea of a JYP version of GOT The Beat is exciting, it is sadly not happening.
