TWICE’s Dahyun Casted as Female Lead in Korean remake of “You are the Apple of My Eye”
Dahyun, the first TWICE member to challenge acting, will play the female lead in “You are the Apple of My Eye” Korean adaptation.
According to Xsportsnews on May 13, the popular Taiwanese movie “You are the Apple of My Eye” will have a Korean remake. Additionally, TWICE’s Dahyun has been cast as the female lead in this Korean version
The Taiwanese movie ‘“You are the Apple of My Eye” depicted the blossoming emotions of a bright youth romance between the school’s problem child and the model student assigned to monitor him. It received much love throughout Asia at the time of release.
Twice’s Dahyun is scheduled to play the female lead role of Shen Chia-yi (name in the original version), the model student who everyone has a crush on.
Previously, Dahyun has attracted attention as the first member of TWICE to make her acting debut, being offered a role in the independent feature film “Power Run” (tentative title). Acting alongside Ha Seok-jin and Lee Shin-young, Dahyun will also take on the challenge of a sports movie based on a track and field athlete.
After starring in a sports movie, Dahyun’s debut as the lead in a youthful romance film has garnered a lot of interest.
