TWICE, Who Attracted 1.5 Million Fans, Concludes Fifth World Tour At Dream Stage “Nissan Stadium”

TWICE concluded their fifth world tour with a spectacular finale at "dream stage"

TWICE concluded their fifth world tour with a spectacular finale at Japan’s largest stadium, Nissan Stadium. The additional concerts, part of their “‘READY TO BE’ in JAPAN SPECIAL” tour, took place on July 27th and 28th, drawing a total of 140,000 fans over two days, showcasing TWICE’s immense popularity. This marks the culmination of their year-long tour, which included 51 concerts in 27 locations worldwide, amassing an audience of 1.5 million.

Nissan Stadium, with its capacity of about 70,000 seats, is considered a “dream stage” due to its high audience pull and the limited number of teams that can perform there each year. For TWICE, performing solo at Nissan Stadium was a long-held dream, and they achieved this milestone in their tenth year since debuting, becoming the first overseas female artist to do so.

TWICE said, “Today is the final day of our fifth world tour, which has been ongoing for 1 year and 3 months. It’s an honor to conclude the tour at Nissan Stadium with 70,000 fans. This is all thanks to you. We’ll show you an amazing stage, so please enjoy this moment that will be remembered for a long time by both TWICE and ONCE.”

The concert began with the title track “Perfect World” from their third Japanese full album, followed by “Breakthrough” from their fifth single, heating up the venue. They also performed new songs from their fifth Japanese full album “DIVE”, showcasing a different side of the members. Additionally, they performed tracks that have captured the global music market, such as “MOONLIGHT SUNRISE” and “ONE SPARK”, as well as solo and unit performances, highlighting TWICE’s unique charm.

Throughout the over three-hour concert, the audience’s cheers filled the stadium. In response, the members offered special performances, such as Jihyo singing her solo debut song “Killin’ Me Good” on the spot and Momo dancing to Nayeon’s solo track “ABCD”.

This special Japan concert series attracted a total of 360,000 fans, with 110,000 attending the Osaka Yanmar Stadium Nagai performances on July 13th~14th, 110,000 at the Tokyo Ajinomoto Stadium on July 20th~21st, and 140,000 at the Kanagawa Nissan Stadium on July 27th~28th. At the end of the concert, the members expressed their gratitude, “Today, we feel even more thankful to everyone who supports and loves TWICE. We remember introducing ourselves as ‘Hello, we are TWICE’ when we debuted. Thanks to the nine members and ONCE, we could achieve our dream of performing at Nissan Stadium. Thank you for coming and filling the venue. We look forward to meeting you again in the future!

TWICE has solidified their status with remarkable activities in the first half of 2024. Having successfully concluded their fifth world tour with an audience of 1.5 million, fans eagerly anticipate what TWICE will bring next.
