Momo, a Japanese member of the global K-pop group TWICE, has become the latest celebrity homeowner in one of Korea’s most exclusive neighborhoods reportedly buying a ₩4.27 billion (≈ US $3.1 million) luxury villa in Achiu Village, Guri City, just outside Seoul.

According to real estate registration data revealed on October 31, Momo signed the purchase contract on October 23 for a unit in the “Arcadia Signature” complex. The transaction was paid entirely in cash, as the property shows no mortgage registration, leading experts to conclude that the idol made the payment upfront. Ownership was officially transferred on the same day.

Arcadia Signature is an ultra-luxury residential complex completed in May 2023, consisting of two basement floors and four above-ground levels, with only eight units in total (six standard villas and two penthouses).

Momo’s unit is a Natural Terrace type, boasting:

  • 3 bedrooms and 1 study
  • 3 bathrooms
  • A private garden
  • Dual scenic views of the Han River and Achasan Mountain
  • Residents enjoy access to high-end communal facilities such as:
  • A private fitness center
  • A shared lounge space designed for discreet gatherings
  • 24-hour security and CCTV systems, ensuring maximum privacy

What makes Arcadia Signature particularly desirable is its exclusive entry system, allowing residents to enter and exit without public exposure a feature that has attracted numerous celebrities. Notably, Han So-hee and Nana are among the previous buyers in the same neighborhood.

Achiu Village in Guri has rapidly become one of Korea’s premier luxury housing zones, often described as “the Beverly Hills of Gyeonggi Province.” The area offers convenient proximity to Seoul while maintaining quiet seclusion, making it popular among entertainers seeking both comfort and privacy.

Momo’s decision to invest here reflects not only her financial success but also her preference for tranquility away from Seoul’s bustling city center. With TWICE maintaining its strong global presence and Momo continuing her solo activities and brand endorsements the purchase marks another milestone in her expanding portfolio.

As one netizen put it on Korean forums: “Momo has worked so hard for years. She deserves a beautiful house.”

From dazzling world tours to securing a dream home overlooking the Han River, Momo’s life in Korea now shines brighter than ever both onstage and off.
