tvN is set to return to its Wednesday-Thursday drama timeslot in the first half of 2026 with Bae In-hyuk and Noh Jung-eui starring in the romantic comedy “Our Universe.”

According to a report from IZE on September 25, tvN has finalized its 2026 first-half lineup, marking the revival of its Wednesday-Thursday drama slot for the first time in three years since the May 2023 finale of Stealer: The Treasure Keeper.

The upcoming drama, directed by Lee Hyun-seok and written by Soo-jin & Jeon Yu-ri, is produced by Scene & Studio Co., Ltd. and planned by Studio Dragon. While the exact premiere date and airtime are still under discussion, it is confirmed as the first title in tvN’s Wednesday-Thursday lineup for 2026.

“Our Universe” tells the story of a couple-in-law pair whose lives take an unexpected turn when they must care for a 20-month-old nephew after the sudden passing of the child’s elder siblings. The series promises comedic chaos and heartfelt moments as the two leads navigate cohabitation and guardianship.

Bae In-hyuk and Noh Jung-eui, both rising young stars, have drawn attention as leads, adding anticipation for their on-screen chemistry.

This move comes after tvN saw strong audience reception this year with its Monday-Tuesday dramas like The Queen Who Crowns, My Dearest Nemesis, Head Over Heels, and Shin’s Project. Meanwhile, weekend dramas such as Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, starring Im Yoon-ah and Lee Chae-min, captured both ratings and cultural buzz. The upcoming weekend drama Typhoon Family, starring Lee Jun-ho and Kim Min-ha, is already a highly anticipated follow-up.

With the revival of the Wednesday-Thursday slot, tvN aims to offer viewers a wider range of drama experiences across weekdays and weekends, bringing excitement and variety to its programming in 2026.
