According to the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, Aespa’s Karina ranked first in the September 2024 girl group individual brand reputation analysis based on big data. Following Karina, IVE’s Jang Wonyoung ranked second, and Aespa’s Winter placed third.
For the September 2024 girl group individual brand reputation analysis, the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute extracted 100,242,961 pieces of brand big data from 675 individual members of girl groups between August 22, 2024, and September 22, 2024. The institute then analyzed brand reputation indices using consumer behavior data, including participation index, media index, communication index, and community index. Compared to the 95,745,561 pieces of brand big data analyzed in August, this represents a 4.70% increase.
Aespa’s Karina, who ranked first in the girl group individual brand reputation, recorded a participation index of 1,590,486, a media index of 1,443,178, a communication index of 1,891,559, and a community index of 1,586,827, leading to a brand reputation index of 6,512,050. This is an 18.98% increase from her August brand reputation index of 5,473,424.
IVE’s Jang Wonyoung, ranked second, had a participation index of 1,788,580, a media index of 1,653,818, a communication index of 931,600, and a community index of 1,504,592, leading to a brand reputation index of 5,878,590, which marks a 3.65% increase from her August index of 5,671,379.
Aespa’s Winter, ranked third, had a participation index of 805,930, a media index of 744,554, a communication index of 1,637,585, and a community index of 1,163,080, leading to a brand reputation index of 4,351,148, reflecting a 19.03% increase from her August score of 3,655,531.
Koo Chang-hwan, the director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, said, “According to the brand big data analysis for September 2024, Aespa’s Karina ranked first in the girl group individual brand reputation. Compared to the 95,745,561 pieces of brand big data from August, the brand reputation increased by 4.70%. A detailed analysis showed a 3.59% increase in brand consumption, a 5.75% increase in brand issues, a 0.51% increase in brand communication, and an 8.93% increase in brand diffusion.”
He continued, “In the link analysis for Aespa’s Karina, who ranked first in September 2024, keywords such as ‘lovely,’ ‘unique,’ and ‘transform’ were prominent. In the keyword analysis, ‘Supernova,’ ‘My Artie Film,’ and ‘SYNK:RO’ were highlighted. In the positive-negative ratio analysis, her brand had a 93.42% positive score.”
