Korean LGBTQ+ women picked their favorite female idols.
Kimnonsan recently conducted a survey on the most popular female K-pop female idols among Korean women from the LGBTQ+ community. About 3,579 women participated, accounting for a total of 9,280 votes (each person is allowed to vote for multiple idols at the same time). On October 7, the Top 100 was announced on Kimnonsan’s Twitter.
According to the final result, TWICE’s Jihyo ranked 100th place. Six more members of TWICE made it into the list, including: Jeongyeon (92th place), Chaeyoung (87), Momo (79), Mina (40), Nayeon (35) and Sana (19). The other two members who were not named in the Top 100 are Tzuyu and Dahyun, who were included in the “The most beautiful women in the world in 2019” ranking.
In BLACKPINK, Lisa is the only member who surprisingly did not make the cut. Meanwhile, Jennie ranked the highest in the group with 40th place, followed by Jisoo (45) and Rosé (55).
The winner of the poll is Seola of WJSN (Cosmic Girls). Seola is followed by her bandmate Bona, who generated much buzz earlier this year thanks to her role in the K-drama “Twenty Five, Twenty One”. Other WJSN members in the Top 100 are Eunseo (9), Luda (12), EXY (17) and Subin (92).
The remaining names in the Top 10 are (G)I-DLE’s Miyeon (6), aespa’s Karina (7), SNSD’s Taeyeon (8) and LOONA’s Heejin (10).
A fun fact is that Seola, who topped the ranking, was recently caught up in dating rumors with her senior Taeyeon. When asked by fans, Seola denied but excitedly said that if the rumors are true, she was fine with it.
In addition, the Top 100 also includes many familiar names such as: IU (36), Chungha (55), Apink’s Jung Eunji (58), SNSD’s Yoona (65), Kim Sejeong (82)…
