Today (Sep 3rd) is the 8th anniversary of Ladies’ Code EunB’s passing due to heartbreaking accident

It has been 8 years since the late EunB, a member of Ladies’ Code, passed away in an accident.

Today (Sep 3rd) is the 8th anniversary of the death of EunB, a member of the female idol group Ladies’ Code. On September 3, 2014, Ladies’ Code got into a car accident while returning to Seoul from a schedule in Daegu.

EunB, who was only 21 at the time, passed away instantly at the scene of the accident when the van the members were riding in overturned. The accident occurred on the same day as member’s Sojung’s birthday, making it even more heartbreaking.

One of the members, 23-year-old RiSe, suffered a serious head injury and was transferred to the intensive care unit and underwent several surgeries, but she eventually could not make it. She passed away four days later, on September 7th.

At that time, Ladies’ Code showed great growth by releasing the new album “KISS KISS” amid a lot of support and love, so the fans’ sadness grew even bigger.

RiSe’s remains were reportedly moved to Japan, where her parents live. Ladies’ Code members visit the memorial park every year to pay respect for their two members.

Ladies’ Code debuted in 2013 and made a name for themselves with unique music such as “Bad Girl” and “Pretty Pretty”. A year into their debut, they received splendid awards. In 2014, they won Rookie of the Year Award for female group at the 3rd Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards and the MBC Music Star Award at the 6th Melon Music Awards.

Ashley, Sojung, and Zuny took a break after the passing of EunB and RiSe. They later paid tribute to their members by releasing “I’m Fine Thank You” in time for the first anniversary.

In February 2020, Ashley, Sojung, and Zuny terminated their contracts with their agency Polaris Entertainment.
