In particular, the TikTok video in question started with a hand constantly moving under a pair of jeans, with “JUMP” playing in the background. Then, the hand is taken out, and viewers can see Siyoung sitting amidst a pile of jeans as he dances to the choreography point of his group’s song.

The TikTok itself is innocent, but some netizens claimed that the intro of it looks extremely weird, and can cause people to think of obscene images. Therefore, mixed opinions started to pour in.

Some netizens, for instance, expressed concerns that Siyoung’s video felt vulgar at the beginning, and may ruin the male idol’s image. However, many also defend Siyoung, stating that he was simply playing with the jeans, and that only dirty-minded people would find the TikTok obscene.

In the end, the controversial video has been taken down from MIRAE’s official TikTok account, and fans are taking action to prevent it from being further spread.
