Tiffany Young displayed her trademark composure and wit as she addressed indirect questions about her relationship with actor Byun Yo Han during a recent press event for SBS’s upcoming program Veiled Cup.
The production presentation for Veiled Cup was held on January 9 at the SBS headquarters in Mok-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul. Tiffany Young attended the event as one of the judges, drawing attention not only for her role on the show but also for her recent personal news.
During the press conference, Tiffany Young was asked what kind of encouragement she had received from the “precious people around her,” an indirect reference to her publicly acknowledged relationship with Byun Yo Han, whom she is dating with marriage in mind.

Smiling warmly, Tiffany responded, “Thank you for the interest. The people who support me have been very generous with their encouragement. They trust me, believe in me, and say they’re really looking forward to it.” She then added with lighthearted charm, “I hope the reporters will also show lots of love for ‘*Veiled Cup,’”* prompting laughter from the audience.
Tiffany Young officially confirmed her relationship with Byun Yo Han on December 13, stating that the two are in a serious relationship with marriage as a shared intention. While reports later suggested a wedding planned for this fall, Tiffany clarified at the event that “no specific schedule has been finalized yet,” choosing to speak cautiously about future plans.
The couple is known to have grown close while working together on the Disney+ series Uncle Samsik, which was released in 2024. As the drama was filmed between March and August 2023, many interpret the relationship as having developed over one to two years before the couple began discussing marriage.

At the time their relationship became public, Tiffany Young personally addressed fans through a handwritten letter, writing, “I am currently in a serious relationship with someone I intend to marry. He is someone who helps me see the world with a positive and hopeful outlook and gives me a sense of stability.” She also emphasized that any major decisions in the future would be shared directly with fans first, expressing sincere gratitude for their long-standing support.
Meanwhile, Veiled Cup marks an expanded version of Veiled Musician, a vocal competition that showcases top singers from across Asia. The program brings together representatives from South Korea, China, Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Mongolia, Laos, and more, as each country’s Top 3 vocalists compete in Korea to claim the title of Asia’s best vocalist.
The Korean lineup previously saw “Jeongdong-myeon Steel Vocal” take first place, followed by “Gamil-dong Cotton Candy” and “Suyeong-dong Thirty-One” in the Top 3. Veiled Cup is scheduled to premiere on January 11 at 4:30 p.m. KST.
