This woman who made a surprise appearance at “Show Me The Money” audition is Lovelyz member
A former Lovelyz member suddenly appeared on the Mnet hip-hop survival show “Show Me The Money 11” as a participant.
On October 18th, the first preview video of “Show Me the Money 11” was uploaded on the YouTube channel “Mnet TV”.
In the video, familiar faces such as rappers Sleepy and Lee Young Ji appeared and drew attention. Moreover, the scene of a woman wearing a blue hat and rapping also caught the attention of netizens.
As it turns out, the aforementioned woman is Lovelyz Lee Su Jeong (also known as Baby Soul), and those who saw the video were greatly surprised by her unexpected appearance.
Comments soon filled up under the “Mnet TV” channel, with netizens saying, “Fight, Lee Su Jeong in ‘Show Me The Money’”, “Lee Su Jeong is here too!”, “Why is Baby Soul here?”, and “Was it Baby Soul?”
On the other hand, Lee Su Jeong joined Lovelyz in 2014 and made her name known as the group’s leader and main vocalist.
In November of last year, all members of Lovelyz except for Lee Su Jeong terminated their contract with the group’s agency, and Lee Su Jeong to renew her contract. She also changed her stage name from Baby Soul to her real name.
Meanwhile, the Mnet hiphop survival show “Show Me the Money 11” will premiere on October 21st at 11 PM (KST).
