An idol-actress recently drew attention after revealing her childhood photos.
Han Seung Yeon, a former member of the 2nd gen Kpop girl group KARA, recently posted old photos on her Instagram account with the caption: “My first audition in the first year of middle school”. In the photo released, Han Seung Yeon was making a peace side and looking at the camera.
Her cute appearance, which is no different from now, warmed the hearts of fans. People also noticed that the female idol was cradling a BoA album in her arms.
Born in 1988, Han Seung Yeon debuted with KARA in 2007. Before the group rose to stardom, she often appeared on various TV shows and attempted to promote KARA to the best of her abilities, thus drawing attention from the public and gaining the title “livelihood idol”.
Overtime, KARA became one of the most popular girl groups in Korea, with massive hits like “Pretty Girl”, “Mamma Mia”, and “Honey”. They were also extremely famous in Japan, and were considered to be one of the spearheaders of the Hally wave.
After KARA’s disbandment in 2016, Han Seung Yeon began to pursue an acting career, and has since starred in various K-dramas including “About Time” and “Age of Youth”. She recently appeared in the 2021 movie “Show Me The Ghost”.
