This Female Idol Debuted in Korea after Topping Her School in the US 

Despite being a top student while she lived in the United States, an idol-actress left her life behind to pursue a career in Korea. 

Nicole Jung, who debuted as the youngest member of famous 2nd-generation K-pop girl group KARA, is known for being a top student when she lived in the United States.

According to Nicole herself on the program “KAIST Season 3”, she ranked first in her middle school.

Nicole, who was a singer, expanded her career to acting and appeared in K-dramas such as “Here He Comes” and “Secret Love.”

She also continues her activities by appearing on variety shows such as “King of Mask Singer,” “Video Star,” and “Immortal Songs.”

The group KARA, to which Nicole belongs, debuted on March 29, 2007 as a second-generation girl group.

Celebrating their 15th debut anniversary under RBW, KARA actively collaborated with fellow 2nd-generation girl groups such as Wonder Girls and Girls’ Generation.

In KARA, Nicole serves as the main rapper and sub-vocalist, whilst Park Gyuri is the group’s leader. 

Recently, to commemorate the 15th anniversary of KARA’s debut, Nicole appeared on the TV program “I Can See Your Voice” alongside fellow singers.

Furthermore, she is appearing on the reality show “It’s just me, KARA”, which was released on the 27th, along with KARA members. The show portrays the travel story of KARA, a representative girl group in Korea, who is 15 years into their career. 

On the other hand, Nicole is gearing up to return as a singer and has expressed overflowing confidence about her new song. Regarding her new song, the female celeb stated, “It’s retro city pop. It’s a style I’ve wanted to do for a long time, so I’m very confident.”
