Korean netizens are paying attention to actor Ji Jin Hee’s expressionless selfies that haven’t changed in the past 2 years
On September 14th, an article called “Let’s look into Ji Jin Hee’s Instagram” was published on the online community “theqoo” and quickly drew attention.
The post contains photos of Ji Jin Hee’s Instagram feed, which consists of various photos in the same pose and expression. The first picture of this strange “series” was published in April 2020, and ever since, Ji Jin Hee’s Instagram has been filled with selfies in the similar pose, except for movie promotions and brief recent updates.
Seeing this weird phenomenon, netizens gave reactions such as, “There must be a reason for this…”, “This is really crazy”, “It’s not easy to look so handsome with a front shot, so many”, and so on.
However, as it turns out, Ji Jin Hee actually explained the reason for his similar post back in February, when he appeared on the tvN entertainment program “You Quiz on the Block”. In particular, the actor said, “The reason I keep posting expressionless selfies is that my words or facial expressions will change the mood of viewers.”
On the other hand, Ji Jin Hee recently confirmed his appearance in the season 2 of Netflix original series “D.P”, where he will co-star alongside other stars like Jung Hae In, Goo Kwan Hwa, Kim Sung Kyun, Son Seok Gu, and more.
