This “Business Proposal” actress was an idol trainee who had to order fried chicken while avoiding her company’s CCTV

It was actress Seol In-ah from the drama “Business Proposal”.

Originally, Seol In-ah dreamed of becoming an actress, but she heard from her company that it would be faster for singers to debut as actors, so she became a trainee in the second grade of middle school.

Thanks to this, she was able to learn how to sing and dance, but she couldn’t eat or hang out with friends at will due to the strict management of the agency. She once had to order chicken while avoiding the agency’s CCTV.

Eventually, the hard-prepared girl group project failed to debut due to internal circumstances of the company. Seol In-ah later passed into the Acting department of Seoul National University of Arts by preparing for her college entrance exam and debuted as an actress.

Seol In-ah had a minor role in the 2015 drama “Producer” as an anti high school girl, drawing short but intense attention. Since then, she has played various roles such as Cho Hee-ji of the hot drama “Strong Woman Do Bong-soon” in 2017 and Hong Nam-joo of “School 2017” and become famous as a scene stealer.

Later, the actress has received attention for getting a significant supporting role in “Special Labor Inspector” in “Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life” and “Mr.Queen.” She is set to act in her first blockbuster “Emergency Declaration,” which is yet to be released. 

The actress is now acting in another highly anticipated production, which is “Business Proposal,” a SBS drama based on a webtoon of the same name produced by Kakao Entertainment. Starring Ahn Hyo-seop and Kim Se-jung, the drama tells the story of a handsome CEO proposing to a female employee who pretends to be her friend and goes on a blind date with him.

Seol In-ah plays Jin Young-seo, Marketing Team Leader of Marine Beauty in the drama. Jin Young-seo will appear as the best friend of the main character Shin Ha-ri (Kim Se-jung) and show off a character with an active personality.

Many are focusing their attention on what the actress will show in this drama after her impressive performances in various past works.
