This boy group beat Red Velvet and (G)I-DLE to win 1st place on “Show! Music Core” this week
A singer surpassed both Red Velvet and (G)I-DLE, girl groups with strong fandoms, to win the No.1 trophy on “Music Core” this week.
The main character of this week’s “Music Core” is NCT DREAM. On the broadcast of MBC’s “Show! Music Core”, which aired on April 9th, Red Velvet’s “Feel My Rhythm”, (G)I-DLE’s “Tomboy” and NCT DREAM’s “Glitch Mode” competed as nominees for the 1st place.
Red Velvet and (G)I-DLE were nominated for No.1 although they didn’t perform on the show. Meanwhile, NCT DREAM decorated the stage with the performance of “Glitch Mode”, the song that got nominated for 1st place. The boy group also performed the b-side track “Arcade”.
As a result of adding up points from digital+physical, MV+broadcast, pre-voting, and live voting, the 1st place went to NCT DREAM. Surpassing Red Velvet and (G)I-DLE with big gaps, NCT DREAM successfully lifted the No.1 trophy.
